Onur Air crash on EHGG

On the 17th of June 2003, the crew of Onur Air flight 2263 aborted its take off on runway 23 at Groningen Airport Eelde, followed by an overshoot of that runway. The aeroplane involved was the TC-ONP (c/n 53549/2185), an MD-88 named 'Esra'. Except for a few light injuries, non of the 142 passengers and 7 crewmembers were injured. The official report (in Dutch only) stated that the aeroplane was wrongly loaded and that the crew had ignored an important warning signal about the settings of the trim. The following pictures were taken by me a day later during the recovery of the aeroplane.
